The Food Pantry at the Notre Dame Kerrville Conference has been operational since  1993.  We receive food and household goods from the San Antonio Food Bank and accept contributions from stores and individuals for distribution to our brothers and sisters in need - primarily in Kerr County.

• Upon arrival, you will be asked to register.  
• If you have not already done so, you will also be asked to complete forms required by the Texas Department of Agriculture, the San Antonio Food Bank and the Society of St. Vincent dePaul.  We cannot provide assistance if you have not completed an intake form (H1555) within the past year.
• If you want someone to pick up food for you, you must designate them as your proxy in writing. 
• Applicants can qualify to receive food in one of three ways:
  • Receiving assistance through specific government programs.
  • Having an income that is roughly less than 185% of the federal poverty guidelines.
  • Undergoing a crisis (unexpected, temporary, out of your control).
• We maintain a record of assistance provided in order to fairly distribute available resources.
• We do not turn anyone away, but we do have policies that limit the amount of assistance we provide over a specified period of time.
• Food Assistance is available for your household twice each month.

Special thanks to the students of Notre Dame Catholic School and local businesses for participating in the 10th annual Trick-or-Treat for Canned Goods Community Service Project.  A total of 1,000 pounds of food was collected for our pantry.  Well played!
