"100 years from now..... it will not matter what your bank account was, the type of house you lived in,
or the kind of car you drove.
But the world will be different because you were a volunteer.
You make a difference in so many ways and deserve
our thanks and heartfelt praise!"
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) is an international organization of lay persons, Catholic in character, who seek, in a spirit of justice and charity to help those who are suffering.
Inspired by Gospel values and - in the tradition of our founder (Blessed Frederic Ozanam) and patron (St. Vincent de Paul) - the Society leads women and men to join together and grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service. Members – known as Vincentians – are drawn from every ethnic and cultural background, age group and economic level. Organized locally, Vincentians witness God’s love by embracing all works of charity and justice. The Society collaborates with other people of good will in relieving need and addressing its causes.
We can always use more helpers. Catholics and non-Catholics are welcome to volunteer. Following are some opportunities where you could help us help others. Call us to get involved or print and complete the registration forms (in the column to the left) and bring them to the Thrift Store.
